Shoes

If you are like me you run through a lot of squash sneakers. But are they really in such poor condition that they still can’t be used by someone learning the game or someone who cannot afford a pair of shoes? That’s what I realized when I bought my most recent pair of shoes and threw my old shoes into the shoe collection bin. So I decided to start collecting squash shoes to donate to worthy organizations.

We have developed relationships with urban squash programs that can reuse squash shoes. In the past three years we have collected 97 pairs of squash shoes for donation to SquashBusters, Squash Haven and the PSA ReBound program.

If you have old squash shoes that you cannot use anymore, please reach out to sydney@squashcares.org and we will arrange to pick up your shoes and find a new home for them.

Rackets

Do you have old squash rackets laying around your house? If so, we want them! We have relationships with Squash Haven and CitySquash to provide squash rackets for their programs. So far we have collected 108 rackets to donate to these programs for their reuse.

If you have old squash rackets that you cannot use anymore, please reach out to sydney@squashcares.org and we will arrange to pick up your rackets and find a new home for them.

Goggles

If your goggles are still in decent shape and you purchase new ones, consider donating your old pair to SquashCares. As a result of a generous donation from Dunlop Sports, we were able to donate 20 new goggles to SquashBusters so middle school players could have quality eye protection. Thanks, Dunlop! We have also collected another 4 goggles for donation.

Below are testimonials from some of the urban squash programs we work with:

“CitySquash greatly appreciates the generous donations from SquashCares. Through these donations of rackets and other squash equipment items we have been able to provide our team members with the appropriate squash equipment in order to compete in squash tournaments and camps. We are greatly appreciative of SquashCares for always keeping us in mind and for enriching the squash experiences of our team members here at CitySquash.”
